ABOUT US

Kuvars was put together in 2009 and become a successful band that has a wide musical depth. The band is ripping up all music charts since 2013 when their first album released.

All band member are met with music at young ages and interested with genres such as Turkish Art Music, Rock, Pop and Turkish Protest Music, and it seems these interests reflected to their compositions.

Music is the common point for band members whose professions are completely unrelated.

Burak Canözer

Being the guitarist, vocalist and composer of band’s many compositions, Burak Canozer had been working with heavy metal bands such as Knighterrant and Almora, supported many performer as an arranger, released 3 solo instrumental albums, founded Underrated Musicians community in order to introduce hidden skilled musicians and provided trainings on fingerstyle guitar. At the same time, Canozer still continues to work with musicians all around the world as a guitarist.


Band Members

Arda Ünlüsoy

The drummer, percussionist and back vocalist Arda Unlusoy has improved his skills on percussion instruments, although he started his carrier with piano. He won various awards from school competitions, played a part on Underrated Musicians community, trained drummers and got experiences by being on many different kind of bands and stages before Kuvars.

Tayfun Yılmaz

Tayfun Yilmaz, an another member of Kuvars got his experience on cover bands by playing bass and guitar, now being a part at Kuvars as rhythm guitarist.

Emre Öğütgen

The bassist, Emre Ogutgen started his career at age of 14 with an electric guitar and got his experience playing in Rock and Heavy Metal bands in college years.



Ceren Demir

The other vocalist, Ceren Demir has started her career by singing and playing guitar in his middle school years. She also was singing in school choir.

On the other hand, Ceren also is a part of Underrated Musicians community, and she is a vocalist in Kuvars, which she has been involved with for a while.
